(Janesville, WI) – SSM Health Care of Wisconsin and Dean Health System will construct a 313,000 SF health care campus on a 50-acre site at the intersection of I-39 / I-90 and STH 11.  This $150 Million, mixed-used campus will contain a new 50-bed hospital and corresponding clinics.

Construction will begin this October, with an opening slated for late 2011 / early 2012.  J.P. Cull & Sons, based in Janesville, is one of the project’s main contractors.  The project is expected to create and/or retain 500 employment positions.

According to James Otterstein, Rock County Economic Development Manager, “This project is one of the main anchors contributing to the continued growth of the health care industry throughout Rock County. More importantly, this project speaks volumes about the investor confidence and overall competitive business environment attributed to the Janesville-Beloit area.”
