(Edgerton, WI) – Edgerton Gear, Inc. announced plans to expand its production facility in the City’s West Side Industrial Park. This will be the second expansion that the company has undertaken sine the 1990’s. The City of Edgerton facilitated the project through Tax Increment Financing (TIF).

According to David Hataj, President, “Our strategic positioning, complemented by an increasingly diverse customer base, has fueled and sustained Edgerton Gear’s growth. We’re extremely pleased with the support provided by the City and we look forward to continuing our company’s involvement throughout the community and beyond.”

Established in 1962, Edgerton Gear specializes in manufacturing custom and precise gears (of varying types), pinions, pulleys, spline shafts, sprockets, etc. with applications across a diverse industry platform. A sister corporation, Duragear, produces nylasteel and other nylon related components for machine driven applications. To produce these products, the company uses alloy steel, stainless steel, bronze, nylon and phenolic.
