(Janesville, WI) – United Alloy, Inc. (UAI) announced a 21,000 SF expansion, as well as a series of internal capital investments that will enhance the company’s contract fabrication capacities and capabilities. Upon completion, this addition will increase UAI’s total footprint to over 100,000 SF and add 32 new positions to the company’s payroll.

UAI’s project was facilitated by a Janesville Tax Increment Financing (TIF) package, as well as pending assistance from the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation


Established in 1999, UAI is an integrated engineering and manufacturing company that supplies the North American OEM power generation markets with custom designed / engineered and manufactured diesel tanks, generator frames, heavy metal fabrications and weldments. Customers include Cummins Power Generation, Caterpillar, Generac, MTU, Baldor as well as others. In addition to its ISO 9001:2008 and Women Owned Business certifications, UAI is UL142 and UN31A certified too. 


According to James Otterstein, Rock County Economic Development Manager, "This project speaks volumes about not only the rebound of the manufacturing sector, but also Rock County’s logistical and workforce advantages – which are continually fueling the area’s economic recovery efforts.“
