(Rock County, WI) - The Gateway Business Park and Janesville's STH 11 Business Park were recently awarded the prestigious shovel-ready site designation by the Ady-Austin consulting group. Over 200 critical variables, representing six major property and community variables, were evaluated during this designation process. Approximately 450 acres of industrial and/or distribution property along the I-39/I-90 and I-43 Development Corridor are covered by this shovel-ready tag.

The Gateway Business Park, which is anchored by Staples and Diamond (Kettle) Foods, has parcels that range in size from three to 65+ acres. Parcels can be arranged in a variety of sizes and configurations to meet an end user's needs. Regional stormwater management, protective covenants, Tax Increment Financing and WI Tax Credits are just a few of this Park's amenities.

The STH 11 Business Park, located along Janesville's Beloit Ave. Industrial Corridor, is 1.5 miles off of the I-39/90 and STH 11 West Interchange. Rectangular in shape and with flat topography, this Park's 224-acres can easily accommodate building pads that range from 100,000 SF to over 1MM SF. This Park features close proximity to heavy power and the Southern WI Regional Airport. Tax Increment Financing and WI Tax Credit incentives are available, a well.

Detailed Information regarding these official shovel-ready sites, as well as other real estate offerings, can be accessed online.

According to James Otterstein, Rock County Economic Development Manager, "Speed-to-market is one of our Development Team's priorities. Whether just beginning or currently in the middle of your site selection and/or development planning, consider the value-added benefits that only a Rock County, WI shovel-ready site can provide."
