The Janesville Innovation Center, which will be located at 2949 Venture Drive, represents 22,000 SF of manufacturing and office space. The project is the result of a $1.2 million Economic Development Administration (EDA) - U.S. Department of Commerce grant and a $850,000 match from the City of Janesville. MSA Professional Services, Baraboo, WI is the project architect; meanwhile, Klobucar Construction (Beloit, WI) is providing General Contractor services. The Innovation Center is slated to be fully operational early Q1 2013.

One of the primary objectives of the Innovation Center is to provide new and early stage companies with flexible, short –term leases for small office and manufacturing spaces. This “business incubator” environment provides technical assistance for entrepreneurs and newly formed start-up companies. The Innovation Center will also be available to established businesses that may require extra “surge” space related to business growth, the R&D of new products, etc.
