Despite a sluggish statewide economy, Rock County’s road to recovery - as measured by capital investment, square footage and employment – is moving forward. Since 2010, over 30 private sector economic development projects have advanced. When fully operational, these projects total nearly $600 million in capital investment; account for about three million square feet of newly constructed, renovated or leased space; and represent over 1,500 new jobs. From advanced manufacturing to emerging medical technologies, these projects are revitalizing the Janesville-Beloit MSA — one project at a time.
