Fairbanks Morse has been awarded a contract by Eastern Shipbuilding Group (ESG) to build and deliver the main propulsion diesel engines (MPDE) for the U.S. Coast Guard’s Offshore Patrol Cutter (OPC), the INGHAM (WMSM-917), which will be constructed by ESG in Panama City, Florida. The engines will be built by Fairbanks Morse at its Beloit manufacturing facility.
